Israeli tanks, missiles strike Gaza in offensive against Hamas

 Israeli forces have attacked areas in the central and southern Gaza Strip, where residents are expecting a renewed ground offensive. An Israeli airstrike on a house in Khan Younis killed eight Palestinians, while three Palestinians were killed and six injured in a missile strike on a house in Maghazi camp in central Gaza. Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant emphasized the task of dismantling Hamas to eliminate its military and governing capabilities. The Hamas group released video showing its fighters targeting Israeli tanks and soldiers east of Bureij.
