Israeli PM 'will be tried as war criminal', says Erdogan

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has announced that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be tried as a war criminal over Israel's ongoing offensive in the Gaza Strip. He criticized Western countries supporting Israel for providing "unconditional support to kill babies" and being complicit in its crimes. Erdogan referred to Western powers as "blind and deaf" and called for a contact group of Muslim countries to continue discussions until the fighting stops. He also called for an urgent evaluation of the United Nations Human Rights Council and the International Criminal Court, stating that Israel's nuclear arsenal must not be forgotten.
