Pakistan Govt bans New Year celebrations in solidarity with Palestinians

 Pakistan's Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has banned New Year celebrations to express solidarity with Palestinians, expressing deep sadness over the massacre of innocent children and genocide in Gaza and the West Bank. Since October 7, 2023, over 21,000 Palestinians have been martyred due to Israeli forces' brutality. Pakistan has raised its voice for the oppressed Palestinians at every forum and will continue to do so in the future. The Gaza health ministry reported 21,110 killed and 55,243 wounded in Israeli attacks, with 2.4 million people suffering severe shortages of water, food, fuel, and medicine.
