Qatar court drops death sentence for 8 Indians, New Delhi says

 A Qatar court has dropped capital punishment forced on eight Indian previous maritime officials captured there last year, India's unfamiliar service said on Thursday.


The eight men, who were sentenced to death in October, were blamed for spying for Israel as per sources — however India and Qatar have not affirmed the charges.

It "noticed the decision today of the Court of Allure of Qatar" in which the sentences "have been decreased".
